Step into a dining experience unlike anything you’ve ever experienced on Saturday July 27, 2024 at Camp Aramoni. Set amidst the picturesque meadow at the heart of our boutique campground, you’ll enjoy Dinner in the Field – an elevated dinner menu served fully immersed in nature. Executive Chef Carson Barger has prepared an Omakase-style menu inspired by all the good that grows around us and beneath us in the beautiful Illinois Valley.

Doors open at 5 PM along with our bar, and dinner begins promptly at 6 PM. During dinner, engage in lively conversation with both old and new friends, all while enjoying live acoustic music by Jeannie and Al Brown. Tickets for this extraordinary experience are $130 per person and must be secured in advance. For an enhanced experience, opt for our upgraded tickets ($145), which include two expertly paired glasses of wine and a signature cocktail. During dinner, water and iced tea will be available to those who did not purchase an upgraded drink pairing ticket. (Please note that a la carte beverages will not be available for purchase during dinner.) Dinner will be served family style in nature’s embrace. Tickets are fully nonrefundable once purchased.

After dinner, continue the festivities at The Burlington, our charming 1971 Airstream Ambassador that’s been transformed into a drink and espresso bar. Gather around the communal fire pit and unwind in our boutique campground until the event concludes at 10 PM.

We recommend avoiding heels, as we’ll be walking through the meadow to reach our dining destination. Rain or shine, the event will proceed, with a designated rain location at Bricks & Stones, our historic event venue, that’s just as magical as the outdoor setting. Whether you’re a foodie, nature enthusiast, or simply in search of a magical evening, our dinner promises warmth, connection and culinary excellence. Join us as we toast to the bounty of the season.

ABOUT THE MUSIC: Jeannie and Al Brown have been making music together for years. Both were Illinois Valley musicians when they met in 1978. Covering nearly every musical style, their piano and upright bass duo favors jazz standards.

ABOUT THE CHEF: Recently recognized with a “Forty Under 40” award from the Illinois Valley Chamber of Commerce, Chef Carson Barger is the Executive Chef at Camp Aramoni. Traditionally trained in Lebanese cuisine, Chef has worked alongside Michelin starred Chefs to hone her craft. Chef Carson’s food is influenced by Mediterranean plant centric fare. Now serving many different demographics between Camp Aramoni’s events and campground, Chef takes pride in implementing a plant-centric, upscale rustic menu that incorporates locally sourced and foraged ingredients.
