If you’ve never tasted a sun-ripened wild black raspberry straight off the vine, now is your chance! Camp Aramoni is pleased to introduce our new series of events showcasing our seasonal produce. Join us for our first-ever Garden Club Pop Club on Friday June 21, 2024 at 6 PM. During the two-hour class, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Tickets are $50 per person, or you can take advantage of our special offer: two tickets for $90. Tickets are nonrefundable once purchased, and no shows and early departures are chargeable at the full rate.
Doors open at 5:30 PM along with our full bar. The event begins at 6 PM with a quick tour of the gardens followed by time to pick your own berries. These plants, likely older than you, always bring an abundance of fresh fruit every summer as they grow along the historic brick kilns on site.
After berry picking, we’ll sip on our complimentary cocktail and head to the kitchen with Chef Carson Barger. Chef will show us how to make a black raspberry, goat cheese and caramelized onion phyllo galette that we’ll bake in the oven then enjoy afterwards. This event is open to everyone so grab a friend and get your tickets early. Be sure to ask plenty of questions as we bask in the abundance of summer!
ABOUT THE CHEF: Chef Carson Barger is the Executive Chef at Camp Aramoni. Traditionally trained in Lebanese cuisine, Chef’s food is influenced by Mediterranean plant centric fare. Now serving many different demographics between Camp Aramoni’s events and campground, Chef takes pride in implementing a plant-centric, upscale rustic menu that incorporates locally sourced and foraged ingredients.
