Anna & Mike: Celebrating Their Love at a Historical Wedding Venue
A Memorable Reception at this Historic Wedding Venue
Anna and Mike chose to tie the knot at Camp Aramoni’s historic wedding venue, Bricks & Stones, on August 14, 2021. After postponing their wedding for over a year due to COVID-19, they were finally able to celebrate surrounded by their closest friends and family. The couple worked with Camp Aramoni’s experienced wedding coordinators to bring their vision to life.
Engagement Photos
While they were waiting for the big day to arrive, they scheduled their engagement photos at Camp Aramoni with their wedding photographer, Melissa Mata. We always invite our couples and their wedding photographer to take their engagement photos here free of charge. This allows your photographer to feel prepared on your wedding day because he or she will already know all the best locations for photos on our 96 acre property!
Ceremony Near Starved Rock State Park
Anna and Mike’s ceremony was held off site at St. Mary’s Church in Anna’s hometown of Utica, Illinois followed by their reception at Bricks & Stones. Of course, their wedding photos weren’t complete until they walked down historic Mill Street in Utica with their wedding party. Nearby, you’ll find the historic Starved Rock State Park.
Accenting the Details of This Historic Wedding Venue
Anna and Mike used florals and decor from Flowers Plus to create a color palette of burgundy, blush and eucalyptus. These colors, combined with Anna’s gorgeous dress from Marien Mae Bridal, beautifully accented the rustic details of our historic wedding venue. Sometimes, simple is best!
A Memorable Reception
Once guests began arriving at Bricks & Stones, the party began. The wedding party made their grand entrance and dinner was served on floral china by Wedron Office. After a few heartfelt speeches from the people who love the couple most, dancing began under the outdoor pavilion. At the end of the night, Camp Aramoni’s wedding coordinators packed all of their décor into their car so everyone could fully enjoy the night and depart easily.
