Bricks & Stones is the 150-year-old event venue at Camp Aramoni. It was originally constructed in 1870 for a 19th century brickyard and now serves as a stunning event space for weddings, corporate retreats, and more.

Bricks & Stones Amenities

Bricks & Stones includes seating for up to 75 guests (banquet style), a full-service bar, caterer's kitchen, five private restrooms, lounge seating, and WiFi. The Bowers Suite, a private multipurpose room separated from the main seating area, is designed for use as a bridal suite or corporate breakout room. Bricks & Stones effortlessly transitions into outdoor spaces suitable for groups of all sizes. The large open lawn can seat up to 200 guests with a tent and includes a covered pavilion with casual seating. Guests will also find three historical brick kilns, an outdoor kitchen equipped with a wood-fired oven, and a 50x50 ft. deck overlooking the Vermilion River. On-site parking is available.

Approved Caterers

Camp Aramoni partners with three exclusive caterers for all events, and clients are required to select a caterer from this list. You need someone who cares about your menu, understands the venue's facilities, and provides excellent service. Our caterers have completed a rigorous vetting process to ensure they can meet and exceed all of your event needs at Camp Aramoni.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Constructed in 1870, Bricks & Stones was originally used as the blacksmith shop at a brickyard that operated from 1870 to 1981. This 150-year-old building underwent three years of extensive renovations before transforming into an intimate event space with history and integrity. The original architecture has been preserved alongside the installation of modern amenities like a full-service bar and two commercial kitchens.

Event FAQs

After three years of extensive renovations, we are excited to announce that Bricks & Stones is immediately available for events in October 2020 and beyond! Events can be scheduled for any day of the week between the hours of 7 AM and 11 PM.

Camp Aramoni is strictly enforcing and following all COVID-19 state mandates. As the policies change, we will adapt our procedures. For updated procedures, please visit the Department of Public Health's website.

Bricks & Stones can seat up to 75 guests indoors (banquet style) and 200 guests outdoors. Your venue rental includes indoor tables and chairs as well as outdoor casual seating. If you would like to host an outdoor event, there is an additional fee to rent a tent with walls, tables, chairs, lights, and heaters. We work exclusively with Peoria Rentals to manage all of your tent rental needs.

No! Camp Aramoni is located on 96 acres, and the campground is a private area located away from the venue. Venue rental rates include access to Bricks & Stones in addition to the immediate outdoor spaces surrounding the venue. If you would like to access the luxury campground, you must have a reservation for at least one tent. Event guests are not permitted to disturb campground guests during events.

Absolutely! Our luxury safari-style tents are an excellent option for overnight stays after your event. Our staff provides a shuttle service between the venue and campground after events, and you can click here to see our availability and rates for the campground. Room blocks are available for events.

Our chefs provide catering for small, casual events at Camp Aramoni. For all other events, we work with our preferred caterers Mark Allen’s American Kitchen, Nelson’s Catering, Chef by Request, Tony's Butt Shack and Peru Hy-Vee. These trusted caterers repeatedly provide excellent service at Camp Aramoni, are present for yearly venue walkthroughs, and provide all necessary permits.

Caterers must be selected from our preferred list (see above), and tent rentals must be ordered from Peoria Rentals. For all other vendor needs, you may hire any vendor of your choice so long as each vendor carries insurance and signs Camp Aramoni’s vendor agreement. Communication between your venue and vendors ensures that venue policies are understood, the vendor’s needs are met, and event details are shared.

Smoking is prohibited indoors. A designated smoking area is provided outside Bricks & Stones during events.

Camp Aramoni strives to host inclusive and welcoming events for everyone. Bricks & Stones includes three ADA accessible restrooms, handicap parking spaces near the venue, and ramps leading to the pavilion. The venue is located on ground level so there are no stairs in the building. Please let us know if you or any of your guests will need special accommodations and our staff will work closely with you to meet these needs.

Pets are not permitted at Camp Aramoni excluding service animals. However, you may see our mascot, Gracie Jo, hanging out around campus. She is a friendly English bulldog with a lot of energy! If you need accommodations for your pet, we recommend our friends at Paws Here Pet Resort located one mile away from Camp Aramoni. We trust the Paws Here team because they pamper their guests with the same level of care that we show our guests! Set on 6 beautiful country acres, their well appointed guest rooms and spacious double-fenced play yards create a relaxing, comfortable, and safe vacation destination for your furry family member. Nightly rates begin at $21. Don’t forget to tell them you’re staying with us!

Yes! All venue rental rates include dedicated fiber optic WiFi, a surround sound speaker system with Bluetooth connectivity, an 85-inch monitor with multimedia connection, and two handheld microphones with outdoor capabilities. We offer additional equipment for an upgraded charge. Please note that most cellular service carriers provide limited service to our property.

Yes! The Bowers Suite is a private multipurpose space located away from the main seating area that includes garment racks, comfortable vintage seating, fogged windows for privacy, and an en-suite restroom with a shower. The Bowers Suite doubles as a bridal suite for weddings and as a breakout room for corporate retreats. If you are looking for an additional getting ready space for your partner, we also offer the Flora & Fauna Couples Cove, our most luxurious tent, located at our campground.
