Camp Aramoni is bringing world-class hospitality to the great outdoors. Our boutique campground is the first of its kind in Illinois and offers fully immersive experiences including lavish safari-style tents, inclusive meals and on-site activities in our lush forests along the Vermillion River. We are currently accepting reservations from May 1, 2024 through October 31, 2024.

Luxury Accommodations

The campground features 11 safari-style tents, each outfitted with upscale amenities drawing inspiration from native Illinois wildflowers. Each tent includes air conditioning and heat, a private en-suite restroom, mini fridge, comfortable beds with luxury linens, a personal bonfire pit and more. With each tent accommodating two to six guests for a total occupancy of 50, the campground is ideal for private couples’ getaways while expansive enough for corporate retreats and full wedding buyouts. Located at the heart of the campground, guests will find The Barn which offers spaces for dining and relaxing. The Barn is also home to Camp Aramoni’s general store, Gertie’s, that is stocked with sundries, snacks and curated merchandise. Camp Aramoni’s rates are inclusive of breakfast, dinner, nightly gourmet s’mores and firewood for your personal campfire.

Breakfast, Dinner and More

Your campground reservation includes the following:

  • Breakfast – Served in The Barn from 8:30 to 10:30 AM daily
  • Dinner – Served in The Barn from 5 to 8 PM daily (No seatings after 7 PM)
  • Nightly house-made gourmet s’mores

Camp Aramoni also offers an à la carte menu:

  • Coffee, cocktails, wine and beer served at The Burlington, our Airstream bar
  • Upgraded experiences like luxury picnics, whiskey and chocolate flights and a Chicago hot dog package
  • Snacks and drinks available for purchase in Gertie’s, our general store

Activities

Camp Aramoni’s 96-acre property features private hiking trails, ponds, access to the Vermilion River, meadows and the remains from an old brickyard that once operated on site. We invite you to enjoy the many complimentary on-site activities that we offer.

  • Hike – Take a scenic hike on our hiking trails and explore the two creeks that run through the property.
  • Canoe on the Pond – A beautiful handmade canoe awaits you at Ristokrat Pond.
  • Go Fishing – You supply the gear and we supply the fish.
  • Wade in the River – The Vermilion River is truly one of the most beautiful features on the property.
  • Bike – Explore the property on one of our six complimentary bicycles that can be picked up at The Barn.
  • Play – Play one of the lawn games in the activities area of the meadow OR enjoy one of the complimentary board games available inside The Barn.
  • Read – We offer an expansive library in The Barn stocked with books that you can take with you on your hike or back to your room.
  • Watch for Birds – Bring your binoculars and search the surrounding woods and riverbanks for native Illinois birds in their natural habitat.
  • Dine – Breakfast, dinner and nightly gourmet s’mores are included in your stay.

Camping FAQs

Please click here to make your reservation online or call us at (815) 224-7333. A two night minimum is required. You can find the campground's policies here. A 50% deposit is due upon booking with the remaining balance due 21 days prior to your stay. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation at Camp Aramoni. We accept all major credit cards as well as cash. We do not accept personal checks.

2023 room rates are $450/night on weekdays and $550/night on Friday and Saturday. A two-night minimum stay is required for all reservations. Our tents can accommodate two to six guests per tent depending on the model. In the case that any reservation has more than four guests in one tent, there is an additional charge of $75 per guest per night.

All reservations are inclusive of breakfast, dinner, nightly gourmet s'mores and firewood for your personal bonfire. Breakfast is served buffet-style in The Barn from 8 to 10 AM daily and features a rotation of seasonal, chef-inspired dishes. For dinner, you will order off of our menus and dine at either 6 or 7:30 PM at your reserved table in The Barn.

You will receive access to your private tent in addition to breakfast, dinner, gourmet nightly s'mores and firewood for your personal bonfire. In addition, you will have access to Camp Aramoni's private shoreline, hiking trails and ponds so you can spend all day exploring. Complimentary bicycles, lawn games and board games are available at The Barn. Fishing and swimming are permitted in the Vermilion River at your own risk. Check in is at 3 PM on your arrival date and check out is at 11 AM on your departure date. Please contact Guest Services at concierge@camparamoni.com if you need to request an earlier check-in and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

On the day of your arrival, you will receive a text from our Guest Services team at (815) 240-9240 asking you to confirm your arrival time. You may continue to text or call us throughout your stay if you need assistance. When you arrive, you will find that the guest parking lot is located at the entrance just south of The Barn. You will have easy access to your vehicle throughout your stay. Once you have parked, please leave your luggage in your car and check in at The Barn.

Guests are required to sign a waiver upon check in as well as provide a credit card for any incidental charges. After you check in, we will transport you and your luggage to your tent while providing a brief tour of the grounds. Camp Aramoni does not hold personal belongings outside of check in and check out times. When you are ready to check out, please visit the Concierge desk to review your bill and take all personal belongings with you.

We may be a little biased, but our food and beverage program is nothing short of amazing! Breakfast, dinner and nightly gourmet s'mores are included in your reservation. Additional snacks, coffee beverages and alcoholic beverages are available for a la carte purchases. Breakfast is served buffet-style in The Barn from 8 to 10 AM daily and features a rotation of seasonal, chef-inspired dishes. For dinner, you will order off of our menus and dine at either 6 or 7:30 PM at your reserved table in The Barn.

No. Pets are not permitted at Camp Aramoni excluding service animals. If you need accommodations for your pet, we recommend our friends at Paws Here Pet Resort located one mile away from Camp Aramoni. Nightly rates begin at $21.

We can easily accommodate most dietary restrictions, and our menus regularly feature items that are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, allergies or aversions when you make your reservation and we will be happy to assist you. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate halal or kosher diets.

All meals are served at The Barn which is the gathering hub of the campground. The space features a kitchen, dining tables, our guest services office, a storm shelter, additional restrooms with showers and Gertie's. Gertie's is our general store stocked with all of your camping needs including snacks, gifts and curated merchandise. Take a few steps just outside The Barn and you'll find our converted Airstream bar, The Burlington, which is stocked with the finest spirits, wines, beers and cocktail kits for you to enjoy around the communal firepit. Our baristas and bartenders are standing by ready to serve you!

The easy answer? Nothing! This isn’t camping. You don’t need to pack up the entire car with sleeping bags, cooking utensils, lamps and gear. Camp Aramoni provides everything you need for a relaxing and pampered stay. Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay as well as a mini fridge so you can keep snacks and drinks nearby. All of our tents are outfitted with electricity, plumbing, air conditioning and heating. If you’re worried about the bathroom situation, fear not! Each tent has a private en-suite restroom including a shower, vanity, toilet and sink. We recommend hiking shoes if you’re ready to explore the trails and get a bit dirty. Dress for the weather and be comfortable! Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted to be brought on site.

Complimentary WiFi is available in all of the tents as well as at The Barn, the gathering hub of the campground. In addition, your tent is outfitted with plenty of outlets and charging stations. Please note that most cellular service carriers provide limited service to Camp Aramoni.

Camp Aramoni is designed for adults and may not be safe for children due to the many bodies of water on site that are not staffed with lifeguards. We recommend families stay in the following tents: Big Bluestem, Sweet William, Nodding Onion and Partridge Pea. These tents are spacious, designed with families in mind and located next to The Barn for easy access to additional amenities and your vehicle. Children are not permitted in our honeymoon suites, Bellflower and Flora & Fauna.

A deposit of 50% of the final total is due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 21 days prior to the arrival date and will be automatically charged to the original credit card. Cancellations received 21 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund less a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 21 days prior to the arrival date are fully nonrefundable. Early departures and no shows are chargeable at their full rate.

If you need to re-book your reservation, you are welcome to do so. However, you will only be able to re-book one time. In addition, if you re-book, your reservation will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Cold and inclement weather conditions do not warrant cancellations or refunds unless Camp Aramoni deems the conditions as unsafe. Guests acknowledge that Camp Aramoni reserves the right to cancel their stay at any time, including once they are checked in, due to inclement weather or any other dangerous conditions. While the tents can withstand winds up to 90 mph, Camp Aramoni also offers a storm shelter at The Barn. In the unlikely case of company cancellation due to inclement weather, you will be charged no more than the first night's rate.

Camp Aramoni's campground closes in the winter, but our event venue stays open all year long. Our camping season runs from mid April through mid November.

When you arrive at Camp Aramoni, you will park in the parking lot near The Barn and have easy access to your vehicle throughout your stay. Our camp counselors will then shuttle you and your luggage to your tent. While the entire property is easy to navigate on foot, our team is happy to cater to your transportation needs by providing complimentary golf cart shuttles around Camp Aramoni.

Yes! Quiet hours begin at 10 PM every night. Disruptive guests will receive two warnings from staff before being asked to leave with no refund.

Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated smoking areas only. We do not allow smoking or vaping inside the tents, inside The Barn or in any of our communal areas throughout the campground. A $500 smoking fee will be charged to rooms where these policies are not followed.

Camp Aramoni is strictly following COVID-19 state mandates. For COVID-19 related cancellations, please call our team at (815) 224-7333. We will do everything we can to reschedule your visit for another time.

Yes! You will see hawks, eagles, deer, blue herons, turkeys and more. These animals make their home at Camp Aramoni, and you are a visitor in their home. Do not engage with the wildlife at Camp Aramoni.
